Stress Management Workshop

This workshop is suitable for anyone experiencing chronic stress or burnout, from professionals wanting to learn ways in which they could bring balance in to their life or perhaps you are faced with a number of different stressors at the moment and wanting to discover effective coping strategies to manage. This workshop is suitable for all.

Why is it important to manage stress?
Stress is a natural part of everyday life, we all experience it from time to time. Our bodies are equipped to handle stress in small doses, but when that stress becomes long-term or chronic, it can have serious effects on our physical and mental health.
Learning how to cope with stress can help us feel less overwhelmed and support our mental and physical well-being. Many studies have shown Mindfulness to be an effective tool in managing stress. We may not be able to control the stressor however we can choose the way we respond to it or learn effective tools to not let it overwhelm us.

Would like to know a way to manage negative thoughts, cognitive distortion and learn techniques that can effectively settle the mind
Our thoughts are powerful they affect our emotions and actions, when we choose to change the way we think we can see a transformative change in how we respond and act. Sometimes our thoughts can be destructive they can limit us by causing fear and anxiety. Through Mindfulness practices we can learn to be an impartial observer of the mind, we can learn to notice dysfunctional thoughts and choose to let them go.
