COMMUNITY PROJECTS

NHS-Funded Project (Nov 2024-Mar 2025)

Our recent project was funded by the NHS,  in which we delivered a series of Mindfulness Workshops for patients experiencing mental health difficulties; we had 35 people attend our workshops. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and demonstrated the measurable impact of our approach.

Key evaluation findings include:

  • 57.1% of attendees reported being very satisfied with the workshops.

  • 42.9% of participants rated their anxiety levels as 2 out of 5 after attending the sessions (with 1 being no anxiety and 5 being very anxious).

  • None of the participants reported high levels of stress post-programme, compared to 34.6% who rated their stress levels as 5 (very high) before the programme began.

  • 71.4% of attendees said they had continued to use the mindfulness techniques to manage stress after the programme ended.

These outcomes highlight not only the effectiveness of our programmes but also the growing demand for preventative, community-based mental health interventions. At Mind & Body, we’re proud of the meaningful changes we’ve helped create in people’s lives, and we remain committed to expanding our reach and impact within the local community.
